Noteworthy: McCain delivered in a pair of big performances as the Huskies scored victories over Roosevelt and Camden (New Jersey) last week. The 6-foot-2 guard who has signed with Duke registered a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds in the Big VIII League win over Roosevelt. McCain scored 13 of those points in the final quarter to help the Huskies take sole possession of first place in the league standings. And in the showdown between nationally-ranked teams, McCain drained six 3-pointers and scored 27 points against Camden at the Spalding Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Massachusetts.
