A man was shot and killed on a residential street in San Jacinto early Sunday morning.
Deputies responding to calls about shots fired around 3 a.m. found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in a cul-de-sac in the area of Sheriff Avenue, north of 1st Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. They attempted life-saving measures but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity was not released, pending notification of family.
There were no arrests Sunday afternoon and information on a possible suspect or motive was not available.
