Abraham Butler and Ann Jones, both 80, were married June 25 in a ceremony at the Moreno Valley Senior Center.
Some of their children, and their children’s spouses, were their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and a grandchild and great-grandchild were the flower girl and ring bearer, according to an email from their family.
The groom, from Sumter, S.C., has lived in Moreno Valley since 1972. He worked 14 years in the Army and Air Force, including at March Air Reserve Base, and retired as a forger.
His children are son Jerry Butler, who served as best man; and daughters Tara Almodovar and Karlyn Cantrell, who both served as bridesmaids while their husbands were groomsmen.
He has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The bride, from Riverside, is a lifelong resident of the Inland Empire and has worked for a chiropractor.
Her children are Julie Langstaff and Mary Everhart, who both served as bridesmaids while their husbands were groomsmen; Tammie Conklin; and Kim Fuller, whose husband was a groomsman.
She has 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
They honeymooned in Las Vegas.
