More than 50 families in need received Christmas toys for their children at the Winter Wonderland Fall Unity Celebration hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College.
The event was supported by donations from the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians Foundation and the Mexico Café in Temecula, in collaboration with the Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, according to a news release.
Families of Mt. San Jacinto College students in need attended the event, which included hot chocolate and desserts in addition to the opportunity to choose toys.
Thanks to the donations, Mt. San Jacinto College student families will be able to give their children presents they wanted this holiday season, according to the news release.
Those who want to help support the Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation may donate to the foundation’s Pledge for Success basic needs initiative, which also helps students with emergency funding, books, supplies, and more.
