The College Football Playoffs begin today with a pair of games that will help determine who will travel to SoFi Stadium to compete for the National Championship.
TCU quarterback Max Duggan and Michigan sophomore quarterback J.J. McCarthy will headline the Fiesta Bowl, the first of two playoff games. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. on ESPN.
No. 4 TCU will look to bounce back from their loss in the Big 12 Championship Game for the chance to play for the national championship. No. 2 Michigan returns to the playoffs for a second consecutive year under coach Jim Harbaugh.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud and No. 4 Ohio State will play defending champion Georiga, the top team in the CFP rankings, in the Peach Bowl (5 p.m., ESPN).
